What is Paid To Surf?

Paid To Surf is simply a method where you are paid to have an advertising banner on your computer screen while on-line.  There is no cost or obligation whatsoever on your part. IT'S FREE.  You are not required to buy or sell anything.  You aren't even required to click on any ads.  A second method Paid Email involves agreeing to receive targeted email from advertisers.  You are paid for following the link in the email to the company's internet web site.

How much will I get paid?

The amount you earn varies with each program.  Some pay a flat rate, some pay a percentage of revenue.  All of the programs pay you more when you refer others to their program.  Bottom line is you can make from $20 in some cases 15$ to many thousands per month depending on how much time you spend online, and how many referrals you have.

A valuable asset which you and you alone control is your time and attention.  Companies that produce goods and services need consumers like you and me to use their products and services. They spend billions of dollars on advertisements to attract some of our time and attention.  Paid To Surf provides us a way to receive direct payment for our time and attention.

You receive indirect benefits from advertising dollars every day.  It is advertising dollars that pay to produce and broadcast TV shows.  You receive these programs whether entertainment, news, sporting events, or whatever for free.  Actually your time and attention to the commercials was the price you paid for TV.  This is also true of magazines and newspapers where the price you paid for these items is significantly lower because of the advertising dollars used to pay the costs.

How can they pay me thousands of dollars to view ads?

Here is how the math works.  I will use AllAdvantage numbers for my example.  Whenever a member surfs with their banner active for one hour it costs AllAdvantage eighty cents.  Fifty cents to the member, ten cents to their referrer, and five cents each to the next four referrers upline.  When 1,000 members each surf for one hour it will cost AllAdvantage $800.  AllAdvantage ads are 20 seconds in length so in one hour each member has seen 180 ads or a total of 180,000 views for the 1000 members.  Internet advertising is usually priced in CPM or cost per thousand views.  AllAdvantage's payment to members is $800. for 180 thousand views or $4.44 CPM.  Since internet ads are normally priced from $5-$30 CPM you can see that these companies should have no problem paying us if they can sell enough ads.

Isn't this just another pyramid scheme?

No it absolutely is not a pyramid scheme. None of these programs rely on recruiting new members to make money.  You will earn money even if you never refer another single member to the program.  These programs simply pay you for allowing them to place an ad on your screen.  Yes you will make more money if you do bring others into the program, but it is not a requirement.

Is this a scam?

Absolutely not.  Members of these programs have already begun receiving checks.  All the money comes from advertisers.  You are being paid for you time and attention plus your efforts in getting others to become members too.

Which program should I join?

Each program has slightly different characteristics.  The program that fits me best may not be what works for you.  My recommendation is to signup for all the programs which interest you.  Once they are in full operation you can stick to the programs you like best.  Remember there is no cost or obligation to join any of these programs and you can cancel your account if you change your mind.
